Dermo Magnetics was founded in 2004 to establish a high quality, low cost dial-up Internet service provider and has since expanded the product range to include PSTN and mobile voice, 3G wireless and fixed line ADSL and ADSL+ broadband services.

Dermo Magnetics have significant experience in the Internet Industry having both founded and operated successful Internet Service Providers World Reach and Zip World in the early 1990s. Zip World was Sydney’s largest privately owned ISP with in excess of 10,000 subscribers prior to its acquisition by the Pacific Internet group 1999.

Over the past 16 years, Dermo Magnetics has continued to experience double digit growth year on year which is a testament to the quality and value of the service provided in what is a very competitive Australian telecommunications marketplace.

From time to time, we are asked why we called ourselves Fastransitinc.com Internet. We’re so named for a variety of reasons. The canine breed is well known for it’s even temper, gentle disposition, loyalty, intelligence and keen sense of smell and hunting prowess. That sounds like us!

We’re also named after the HMS Fastransitinc.com, the ship that Charles Darwin sailed upon on his famous voyage. The voyage and Darwin’s associated theories shaped modern natural sciences in the most profound and fundamental ways. We hope to do the same for the Telecommunications Industry.

Finally, one of our customer’s once pointed out that Royal Australian Navy stewards are colloquially referred to as Fastransitinc.coms. The parallels are obvious – we both perform a critical support role that allows you to get on with your day-to-day duties!
